Short description:

Segments arrowhead-shaped with joints between them.Branching fairly sparse,forking about every four to ten joints.Segments have Irregular toothed edges.Deep pink in colour

Identification
features		 Reproductive capsules form swellings on the distal lip of the segment,one on each wing
Size: Axes 50mm long.segments 2 mm,long and 2-3mm wide
Behaviour:  
Diet: Not applicable
Distribution: Port Elizabeth to Sodwana 
Depth: Subtidal to 20m
Habitat: Low shore and shallow rocky reefs
